Praise report, and thanks to St. Joseph, and all glory to God through him

So I’ve been in an irregular employment situation for almost three years.

I mean, it’s a regular job, but I quit my engineering position three years ago almost to the day after my boss told me two other managers at the company were trying to prosecute unfair and dishonest vendettas against me but he didn’t have the clout to watch my back. Afterwards I moved almost halfway across the country to stay with family while I figured things out, and all I learned was I had had enough of beating my head against the wall trying to do engineering just because I had a degree with good grades in it.

So I’ve been working retail. It’s not without its charms but it’s a dead end.

So, several weeks ago I began the 33 day consecration to Saint Joseph per Father Donald Calloway.

Just a few days in, a vendor approached me with the question “are you happy working here?”

After some weeks of jumping through hoops, today I received a job offer with the vendor’s company. It’s new and scary and starts $9/hour above what I’m making now.

This weekend is my day of consecration.

Have I told you lately how little I believe in coincidences?
